My conceptual photography is a series titled Systematic Interference and are temporary installations which are photographed in order to convey a message or narrative. Through provocative texts and symbolism, I play upon ironic dichotomies and absurdities of hypocritical ideals, such as the idea we are all special, but also, nobody is special through iconography of potatoes being historical symbols of poverty in contrast to sparkling crushed glass and satin fabric, which represents prestige and luxury. These photographed installations provokes the audience to question 'absolute truths' by institutional structures. The photographs are captured in daylight and are unedited in order to provide visual communication without filtration.
